 The Ribosomal Database Project (RDP) provides ribosome related data services to the scientific community, including online data analysis, rRNA derived phylogenetic trees, and aligned and annotated rRNA sequences.

RDP Release 9 is now available.
RDP Release 8.1 (this site) is no longer being maintained.

RDP Release 9 is now available. RDP 9 contains over 100,000 sequences and is updated monthly. More info on RDP 9 can be found in the release notes.

The site you are currently looking at (RDP 8.1) has been moved to a new URL (http://rdp8.cme.msu.edu). RDP 8.1 will continue to be available for an indefinite period as a convenience to our users, but is no longer being maintained by the RDP.
